The Green Knight has won,
The one who captures the Prince,
Hip hip hooray! The Prince is alive!
And so are his knights.
So they set out to find,
The Green Knight behind,
And they found him dwindling,
In the Black Knight's divine.
They struck him down,
They brought him back,
To the King,
To the rack!
He is to be executed,
At dawn's first light,
Oh Green Knight!
What a sad sight!
